It was a while ago when I won a competition with FarFetch where the prize was a pair of gorgeous sunglasses and a fashion shoot! Check out my entry here. The sunnies arrived within a couple of days, however, due to weather restrictions and other commitments, the shoot only took place last Saturday.
The weather was fabulous and I was really excited to meet with my photographer, Kaye in Notting Hill. I’ve always loved the area with all its trendy cafes and cute squares so it seemed like the perfect location for this shoot.
To be honest, I prefer to be behind the camera and have always found it a bit uncomfortable being in front of it. Maybe it has to do with me being such a control freak and wanting things a certain way. Whatever the reason, it is a fact that having my photos taken makes me quite nervous!
However, the true professional Kaye is, she put me at ease almost instantly and the fashion shoot turned into lots of fun. She shoots anything from Fashion Week to Farfetch’s bloggers events and it was absolutely amazing to work with her.
I absolutely adore my mirrored rainbow sunnies with rose-gold cat eye frames by the one and only Matthew Williamson. There is wide variety of designer brands at Farfetch and I like the fact that you can stock on your fashion picks whether you’re after classic styles or something a little bit more extravagant.
Overall, a great experience and I could not be more happy to have tons of new photos to share with you in my upcoming posts. So grateful, Farfetch and Kaye!
