” I have always loved the romance of Peter Pan and find it to be so quintessentially about London. I have looked at and walked past his statue in Kensington Gardens from time to time nearly all my life and it resonates with such memories for me. I know many other people feel the same way and this ring is a jewelled homage to this wonderful part of London and its timelessness, as seen through eyes both young and old.” – Theo Fennell
Paying tribute to one of London’s loveliest and most magical parks, the whimsical Kensington Gardens Ring was masterminded and is another virtuoso Masterwork from Theo Fennell’s brilliant craftsmen in the workshop above the Fulham Road store.
Crafted by hand from 18ct Yellow Gold, this exquisite piece of miniature art celebrates the idyllic beauty of the gardens: from the vibrant 12.56ct Green Tourmaline which evokes the rich colour of the trees to the intricately hand-engraved leaves and flowers which weave their way around the body of the ring.
The delicate wooden doors on either side of the ring open to reveal two beautifully enamelled tributes; one of the Peter Pan statue in all of its fairytale glory and the other to the peaceful ‘Long Water’: the part of the Serpentine lake which lies within the gardens.
